2012 Ivy League WOMEN’S SOCCER
Senior Aurelia Solomon played for Bethesda SC Sharks (coached by Ellis Pierre and Jerry McNeal). Solomon (Player of the Week and Former All Ivy Rookie) was instrumental in her teams’ 2-0 weeks
Dartmouth senior Aurelia Solomon (Washington) tallied three points on agoal and an assist last week, but she made each point count. She assisted thegamewinner in Dartmouth’s 1-0 non-conference win over Brown and then scoredthe gamewinner in a 2-1 victory over Penn, which was the Quakers’ first Ivy loss ofthe season. Dartmouth has won three in a row and Solomon has recorded at leasta point in each victory.Solomon becomes the second Big Green to earn Player of the Week honors thisseason, joining teammate Emma Brush (Sept. 10). It marks the first time thatDartmouth received two Player of the Week honors in the same season since 2006,when Amanda Webb (10/10) and Nicole Cameli (Oct. 31) were the recipients.
