This depends on the age of your child. Using the table
below start by finding the birth month of your child and then scroll down the list to the birth year of your child.
Then move to the left of the table and you will find the division for your child.

Field Locations
* Practices will be held as close to neighborhoods as possible.
* Days, time and location will
be determined by the coach at the individual team meeting.
* Crossroads Park is located in Gilbert on Greenfield Road and Knox Road (south of Warner).
* Countryside Park is located in Mesa on Southern and
32nd Street (between Val Vista and Lindsay).
*
Interplay games could be located in Glendale, Litchfield Park, Ahwatukee, Mesa and Globe.
Game Schedules
* Games will begin for U14 on September 9th; all other divisions on September 11th.
* Games will end for U14 on November 18th; all other divisions on November
20th.
* U16 and U19 divisions will be eligible
to play in their high school season.
*
It is possible to play both junior high soccer and the AYSO season.
* There are no games the week of October 11th through October 16th (Fall Break)
Refund Policy
* A full refund of the registration fee will be issued if proper form (download from
registration page) is received by August 14th.
* Registration fee will be refunded less $20 per player refunding as long as the uniform is returned
the proper form is received by the cutoff date. (The cutoff date is the first game of the division in which the
player was registered.) THERE ARE NO REFUNDS AFTER OCTOBER 1, 2010.
Special Requests
* No requests to play with coaches
or other players (exception of sibling in same division) will be honored.
* To "play up" the player must turn the age of the higher division during
the season (August 1st - November 30th) see exception in U16 Division
EXCEPTION IN U16 DIVISION TO PLAY UP TO U19. (MUST MEET ALL CRITERIA)

Equipment Needed
* All players must wear shin guards
at practices and games.
*
Cleats are optional, however, they must be a soccer cleat. If you are using another type of cleat, cut the toe cleat
off.
* A ball is necessary
at practice. Sizes of ball used for each division is: U6 - U8, size 3; U10 - U12, size 4; U14 - U19 and VIP, size
5.
Team
Volunteers
AYSO
is an all volunteer program
*
Coach - must be willing to hold practices during the week and attend games.
Attend either the mandatory AYSO Safe Haven course or update if you have already taken the class. Coaching clinics are
available for each age group. Fill out volunteer form each year. (see calendar for dates)
* Assistant Coach
- must be willing to help at games and practies. Attend either the mandatory AYSO Safe Haven course or update if you
have already taken the class. Fill out volunteer form each year. In U6 division, the assistant must attend the
games as the roster is divided into two fields.
* Official - a referee for the U8 division. Training is free and
a t-shirt is provided. Each team will be responsible to provide at least one official to referee their own game when
team is listed as home team. Must attend Safe Haven for Referees and fill out a volunteer form each year.
* Regional
Referee - a referee for the U10 and up divisions. Training is free and a badge, jersey, shorts and socks are
provided. Each team should provide at least one referee. In U10 division the referee will referee the following
scheduled game when team is home team. Other divisions will be assigned games. A volunteer form must be filled
out each year.
* Assistant Referee - a linesman for the U8 through U19 divisions. Training is free and
a t-shirt is provided. Must attend AYSO Safe Haven for Referees and fill out a volunteer form each year.
* Team
Parent - must be willing to handle the communication from the region board and coaches to the parents. Arrange
a snack schedule, team banner (if wanted), attend their meetings and plan after season party. Fill out volunteer form
each year.
Miscellaneous
Information
* No Player
with a hard cast or splint will be allowed to participate in practices or in games.
* The region requires doctor releases upon return of full participation.
* No jewelry allowed at practices
and games. NO exception! Only medical identification bracelets and necklaces may be worn. (taped down)
