General Information
AYSO National has changed from a school year registration to a birth year registration in order to align with other youth soccer programs.
Region 688 will have single-year Divisions for players born in 2021 (coed "Playground"). Two year Divisions for (6U); (8U), (10U), (12U), (14U), and four year age division (16U/19U). Children younger than 6 are placed on coed teams and other teams are subject to being coed based on registration.
Each team has a registered and background checked VOLUNTEER coach that is or must become age-appropriate certified. Coach Certification is provided free of charge by AYSO. Some upper levels of Coaching Certification may involve travel and multiple day classes.
AYSO Playground is for our 3 year olds as of 12/31. It is a child development program. The objective of this program is to help develop in collaboration with the parent or guardian, the child's fundamental motor skills using soccer as a common thread. There is no practice during the week for this age group.
EPIC is for 4 yars of age and older. This program provides athletes with disabilities the additional support they need to fully participate in a quality soccer experience. There is no practice during the week for this age group.
CORE programs are for all other players 6U thru 19U who participate up to a nine week season where fun and player development are the primary focus.
Teams may experience interplay travel with neighboring regions during the Fall Season to supplement games.
Registration for the Fall Season begins May 1 through July 31. New players to AYSO 688 will need to attach a birth certificate or proof of age record.
Registration is $100 for 6U - 16/19U, EPIC players is $75; Playground is $80. A $2.75 credit card processing fee and an additional $25 AYSO annual national fee that will be included at the end of registration process. This is is an annual fee so will not be charged in the Spring 2025.
We offer a family discount (cannot be combined with early bird discount) of $5 off the second player, and $10 off the 3rd player beginning June 1.
Fall Season will start September 14 and run through November 16 - No games on October 12. Subject to change with field reservations.
Refund Policy
Players that drop from our league may receive a refund per the following guidelines and procedures:

Any player, who withdraws prior to AUGUST 15, 2024, will receive a full refund LESS the cost of the AYSO National Registration Fee and credit card processing fee (Total $27.25) provided that the parent/guardian submits a request for a refund. Please email [email protected] to request a refund.
